SMS-SME Secures Hatch Cover System Contract for 500T Heavy Lift Ship

We are pleased to announce that SMS-SME has successfully secured the contract to provide a state-of-the-art hatch cover system for the 500T Heavy Lift Ship being constructed by Honda Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. for AZIA SEKKEI Co., Ltd./Eastern Car Liner Ltd.

The vessel features three holds equipped with hydraulic folding-type hatch covers on the weather deck and two-level pontoon hatch covers with flip-type rests, designed for versatile cargo operations.
