SMS-SME has successfully supplied a 4tier lashing bridge to HMM through Samsung Heavy Industry with a Mickey Mouse design on the outmost row. 

Based on exclusive SMS-SME’s bracing design concept, SMS-SME was able to propose the most optimized design for sturdy structure strength while its weight is reduced efficiently. 

For the mega Lashing Bridge structure, SMS-SME supplied not only design but also structure fabrication at its partner factory in Korea. 

A satisfactory solution was proposed to maximize container loading TEU capacity by outmost row Mickey Mouse design, top external double, and bottom external single lashing.

SMS-SME also delivered a hatch cover with a competitive design with up to 6 rows of containers on a single panel while meeting a lifting weight of 45 tons. 

The engineering skill to design a 6row capacity hatch cover can propose competitive solutions, such as reducing the number of panels, weight, and operation efficiency.
