SMS-SME secured an order for the project of Japanese shipping company “OSAKA ASAHI KAIUN” to supply pontoon-type hatch cover. 

This pontoon-type hatch cover is going to be installed in a container feeder vessel. 

According to the special request of the owner on the Hatch Cover split joint, SMS-SME proposed a unique design solution that satisfies the owner’s special request for split joint design. 

The pontoon-type hatch cover was successfully produced and delivered to the shipyard in 2020.
