(1)    Seohae has applied the restricted 20’ container loading in 40’/45’container loading hatch cover for the vessels with 40’/45’container in general. It has brought 20 ~ 30 % weight saving and achieved the quality-innovation in the hatch cover system.

 

(2) HT40 is used for the ship structure now. With the development of mega-container ships, it is worth to investigate the use of higher-strength material in hatch covers. We are studying the fatigue control and deflection effect for future use.
